PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a micro flow channel chip, which allows base plates to be sufficiently bonded to each other at the vicinity of the opening of a through-hole without forming a gap so that leakage of a sample can be effectively prevented, and a micro flow channel chip made by the method.;SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a micro flow channel chip includes a first step of preparing a first base plate having a first joint surface with a flow channel groove and a second base plate having a through-hole in the thickness direction with an end opening of the through-hole, and a second step of pressure bonding the first joint surface and the second joint surface such that the flow channel groove communicates with the through-hole. The through-hole internally has an engaging part.
