PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten the operation load when a test of no-load saturation characteristics of a synchronous machine is conducted.;SOLUTION: A no-load saturation characteristic test part 12 provided in an excitation controller 8 of the synchronous machine includes: armature voltage measuring and recording means 21 of measuring and recording an armature voltage; field current measuring and recording means 22 of measuring and recording a field current; field current control means 18 of outputting an ignition signal to a thyristor rectifier 4 so as to control the field current; a field current setter 15 which sets a control command value of the field current control means; and field current setter sequential change means 23 of sequentially changing the set value of the field current setter 15 in a predetermined pattern once a no-load saturation characteristic test start command is input, and also making the armature voltage measuring and recording means 21 and field current measuring and recording means 22 measure no-load saturation characteristics of the synchronous machine at the same point of time in a process of sequentially changing the set value by outputting a recording command thereto.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
