PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket capable of improving attaching/detaching work to a drive shaft, and a power tool fitted with the socket.;SOLUTION: This socket has a cylindrical part 31 which is attached to a drive shaft 20 having a pin through-hole 21 of a power tool 10, and has a mounting hole 32 with the drive shaft inserted therein at a base end. A pin insertion hole 33 reaching the mounting hole is formed through the cylindrical part. A first recessed groove 35 turning around the cylindrical part at a position passing above the pin insertion hole is formed at an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical part. Second recessed grooves 36 and/or 37 turning around the cylindrical part are formed close to the first recessed groove and substantially parallel to the first recessed groove.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
