PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic book management and information sharing system for library for achieving value improvement of an electronic book and development into much more satisfactory contents by managing lending of an electronic book or the like, and adding writing information of other users to an electronic book to be lent to share the content, and making it possible to edit the content.;SOLUTION: The electronic book management and information sharing system for library includes: a host system and a browsing/input system respectively including databases; a lending device; and a lending terminal. The host system includes: a lending processing part for transmitting lending information to the browsing/input system; and a return processing part for performing return processing to a book whose book return request has been made. The browsing/input system includes: a writing processing part for determining whether or not there exists edition authority with respect to the book whose writing request has been made, and for, when there exists the edition authority, displaying book information and writing information at a lending terminal in an editable mode; and an evaluation processing part for performing processing to register evaluation information in corresponding databases with respect to information whose book or writing evaluation request has been made.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
