PURPOSE: A product storage space and product location management system and a method thereof exactly extract 3D location information of a certain product in a product storage by mounting a location management tag and an identifier reader reading an object's identifier on a carrier and extracting the object's product information and location information at the same time. CONSTITUTION: An access point (AP) module (10) is comprised of location management APs fixed on certain points in a product storage unit. An identifier module (20) is placed on a product in the product storage and is comprised of identifiers including the product's product information. Mounted on a carrier, an identifier reader (30) recognizes the identifier and receives the product information. A location management tag (40) is also mounted on the carrier, communicates with the location management APs, and calculates the distance between the carrier and one of the APs at the point when the product is placed at a certain location.
