PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attitude state evaluation apparatus and an attitude state evaluation method in which the possibility of measurement relating to quality evaluation can be determined beforehand by easily and accurately evaluating, while suppressing introduction costs, an attitude state when fixing and holding a measurement target such as a rolling bearing or each component thereof in an assembled state to a jig.SOLUTION: When evaluating an attitude state of a fixed and held rolling bearing 10, a frequency component of oscillation data corresponding to an integer multiple of a rotation frequency of the rolling bearing 10 is extracted (step S6), the frequency component is compared with a preset threshold value (step S7) and on the basis of a result of the comparison, the attitude state is determined (step S8). Thus, the attitude of the rolling bearing 10 can be determined easily and accurately even under any arbitrary rotating speed.
