PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict seriousness of a patient after predetermined time from biological information to be acquired from a simple measuring device.SOLUTION: A seriousness prediction device includes: a vital data storage part 102 which stores vital data including diseases or chief complaints, and biological information of patients at a plurality of times in the past for every patient; an analysis part 103 which creates criteria for determining seriousness after predetermined time at arbitrary time based on the diseases or the chief complaints, and the biological information at the arbitrary time by analyzing relation between the diseases or the chief complaints, and the biological information of the patients at the arbitrary time and the seriousness of the patients after the predetermined time of the arbitrary time for the vital data; a vital data acquisition part 101 which acquires vital data on a patient for determination; and a seriousness determination part 104 which determines the seriousness after the predetermined time of time when the vital data acquisition part 102 acquires the vital data based on the vital data acquired by the vital data acquisition part and the criteria created by the analysis part.
