PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a racket that has durability even when the racket is stringed with high tension, that has general applicability, and that satisfies both a shuttlecock hitting feeling and shuttlecock hitting sound, and also to provide grommets therefor.SOLUTION: A grommet for a badminton racket includes: a grommet leg part 1 that is inserted into a gut insertion hole; and a grommet head part 2 that is arranged at one end of the grommet leg part. The grommet leg part 2 has an elliptical shape or a rectangular shape. The grommet head part 1 has a through-hole 3, and on the upper face of the grommet head part 2, a groove 4 is formed in a major axis direction and at the position passing through the through-hole.
