PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter quality management apparatus that adjusts a dot size of a printed matter accurately when a code image having a plurality of dots is printed.;SOLUTION: The printed matter quality management apparatus includes: first acquiring means that acquires a dot size of a code image formed of a plurality of dots; image forming means that forms a solid image having a dot area ratio of 100% on a recording medium, and forms a dot image formed of dots of the acquired dot size and having a dot area ratio set in advance; density measurement means for measuring reflection density of each of the solid image and the dot image; second acquiring means that acquires a dot area ratio of the dot image formed on the recording medium on the basis of the measured reflection density, and compares the acquired dot area ratio with the preset dot area ratio to acquire thickness of the dot; and adjustment means for adjusting the dot size of the printed matter on the basis of the acquired thickness of the dot.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
