PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight for a fishing implement that can supply bivalent iron ions which are minerals essential for animals and plants and becomes extremely small in volume with time even when falling from a fishing line, a fishing net, or the like and left in the water or at the bottom of the sea, a lake/marsh, or a river.;SOLUTION: The weight 10 for the fishing implement is characterized in that an iron-containing granular material comprising at least one kind selected from a group consisting of at least iron, iron oxide and iron hydroxide, and carbon powder, and preferably further a binder are mixed and solidified into a lump, and preferably molded by sintering.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
