PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to reach a destination accurately at target time without autonomously managing a walk speed by himself or herself.;SOLUTION: A walk support system including a portable terminal 2 that a user carries and a data processing computer 3 measures a current place of the user and a current time by the portable terminal 2 and then measures steps of the user using a walk sensor 21, to transmit data on those measurements to the data processing computer 3 together with information representing a destination and target time of arrival at the destination that the user inputs. Then the data processing computer 3 calculates the number of steps per unit time needed for the user to reach the destination at the target arrival time on the basis of the respective pieces of information sent from the portable terminal 2, selects music data having the tempo corresponding to the calculated number of steps per unit time from a music information storage unit 35, and transmits the music data to the portable terminal 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
