PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scavenger of phosphorus in phosphorus-containing organic contaminated wastewater discharged from a chemical plant, a food plant, a livestock farm or the like, and to provide a method of clarification treatment of phosphorus-containing organic contaminated wastewater using the phosphorus scavenger.;SOLUTION: The method of clarification treatment of the phosphorus-containing organic contaminated wastewater is characterized in that phosphorus-containing wastewater is subjected to contacting treatment with the phosphorus scavenger which is produced by using a material, in which a bamboo is subjected to carbonization treatment, as a base material and supporting iron oxide and a calcium compound or a calcium-iron oxide compound on the surface of the part of fine pores of the material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
