PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a pin to be implanted in a game board needs to be at a position and height within the predetermined range, however, an existing method for finding a pin higher than a predetermined height is not suitable for quickly finding a pin lower than the predetermined height without damaging the pin.;SOLUTION: A detection device includes: a conveyance unit for conveying a game board at a predetermined speed; a first line sensor having a visual axis disposed perpendicular to the game board; a second line sensor having a visual axis inclined at a predetermined angle from the visual axis of the first line sensor, having an intersection of the visual axis thereof and the visual axis of the first line sensor, the intersection disposed at the same height as the head of the pin on the game board; and a control device for calculating the height of the pin based on the distance between a point at which the first line sensor images the head of the pin and a point at which the second line sensor images the head of the pin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
