PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that the number of skilled persons limits the speed of image quality evaluation since only the person skilled in the image quality evaluation can evaluate image quality, and a truly optimum imaging parameter setting value cannot be obtained.;SOLUTION: In an image quality evaluation method and device of an ultrasonic imaging apparatus, image quality evaluation knowledge of a person skilled in image quality evaluation is stipulated by machine learning or the like as a fixed quantity index-sense index conversion rule, combinations of a large amount of imaging parameters are all evaluated, and it is made possible to obtain the truly optimum imaging parameter setting value in realistic time.
