PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem related to an internal shear failure zone and flow stagnation in a dry coal extrusion pump.SOLUTION: A pump 10 for transporting a particulate material includes an inlet 12, a passageway 14, an outlet 16, a first load beam 18a, a second load beam 18b, a first scraper seal 20a, a second scraper seal 20b, a first drive assembly 22a, and a second drive assembly 22b. The first and second load beams 18a and 18b are positioned in the first belt assembly 28a and the second belt assembly 28b, respectively. The first scraper seal 20a and a second scraper seal 20b are positioned approximate to the passageway 14 and the outlet 16. The first drive assembly 22a is positioned in the first belt assembly 28a and drives the first belt assembly, and the second drive assembly 22b is positioned in an interior section of the second belt assembly 28b and drives the second belt assembly.
