PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for joining wooden members, which allows the wooden members to be reliably joined to each other; a structural wooden building material; and a junction construction method.;SOLUTION: Wooden members having parallel joining grooves 3 arranged at intervals are overlapped to each other so as to form closed joining holes 9 from the joining grooves 3 opposite to each other, respectively. A wooden joining member 10 having engaging protrusions 19, which is symmetric about the overlapping plane 2, with a thick portion at the back part of the joining groove 3 along the joining groove 3 at each of the closed joining holes 9 is inserted in the closed joining hole 9 so as to form a structure for joining wooden members to each other. The wooden joining member 10 has at least a pair of inclined planes 17 for a wedge at the back face side. A wedge device 12 extending in the longitudinal direction of the groove of each of the wooden members 1 provides pressing force. The wooden member 1 and each of the engaging protrusions 19 are moved in the width direction of the groove, so as to be pressed to the inside of the joining groove of the wooden member 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
