PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram reproduction device and a retrieval method for optimal value of reproduction-time reference light incident angle that are capable of compensating for positional deviation of hologram caused at the time of contraction or expansion of a hologram recording medium with page data information recorded in a multiplex manner or installation of an interchangeable recording medium, or that are capable of shortening time required for the compensation.;SOLUTION: A hologram reproduction device includes an information reproduction part for reproducing page data information by emitting reproduction-time reference light to a hologram recording medium 11 with page data information recorded in an angle multiplex recording manner, and uses the information reproduction part to make adjustments so as to obtain a light wave holding the page data information. The device comprises operation means 40 that, at the time of reproducing each piece of the page data information, obtains an intended reproduction-time reference light incident angle Φread on the basis of an arithmetic expression consisting of a signal light incident angle Θs, a recording-time reference light incident angle Θr, a light wavelength λ, a refractive index n of the recording medium and a contraction coefficient α of the recording medium.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
