PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height switching structure of an automobile deck board eliminating the need of providing another component on a holding portion side holding a deck board.;SOLUTION: The height switching structure of the automobile deck board has: a shaft portion 23 provided so as to move backward/forward in relation to both end portions in a width direction DI2 of the deck board; and a holding portion 30 holding the deck board 10 to switch its height. A groove 40 of the holding portion 30 has: a vertical guiding groove 50 raising backward from a lower end position 55 where the deck board 10 is at a lower stage position L1; a fore-and-aft guiding groove 70 connecting to an upper end position 57 of the vertical guiding groove and capable of guiding the shaft portion 23 from the connecting position to a front end position 79 on a front side; and a communicating groove 80 lowering backward from a front portion of the fore-and-aft guiding groove 70 and connecting to a middle portion 52 of the vertical guiding groove. The front end position 79 of the fore-and-aft guiding groove is a position where the deck board 10 is at an upper stage position L2.
