PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately detect torque applied to a machining tool during cutting operation to prevent breakage of the machining tool.;SOLUTION: A machining tool breakage-preventing device includes: a tool dynamometer 3 measuring torque applied to a tap 1 used for machining during cutting operation by the working machine; a comparison means 44 determining whether a torque measured by the tool dynamometer 3 exceeds a prescribed threshold; and an operation instruction means 45 instructing the working machine to stop cutting operation and to pull the tap 1 from a workpiece 100 when the comparison means 44 determines that the torque exceeds the threshold.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
