PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably control a light-emitting apparatus by preventing collision of communication when controlling light emission of the light-emitting device.SOLUTION: A light emission control apparatus allowed to be connected to an imaging apparatus and capable of wirelessly communicating with at least one controlled light-emitting device for emitting light in accordance with a light emission instruction includes: a receiving part for receiving charge information concerned with a charge state of the controlled light-emitting device from the controlled light-emitting device; a first transmission part for transmitting a signal for stopping transmission of the charge information to the controlled light-emitting device; and a second transmission part for transmitting a light emission instruction to the controlled light-emitting device in accordance with an instruction from the imaging apparatus. When the receiving part receives charge information indicating completion of charge from at least all controlled light-emitting devices, the first transmission part transmits a signal for stopping the transmission of the charge information.
