PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control method and a device of an electromagnetic vibration feeder capable of positively carrying out resonance point follow-up control irrespective of an attachment state of a displacement detecting means.;SOLUTION: In the drive control method of the electromagnetic vibration feeder, a phase difference between a current or a voltage inputted into an electromagnetic coil 4 of an electromagnet 3 and the vibration displacement of a movable part is detected, a frequency of the current or the voltage inputted into the electromagnetic coil 4 is changed so that a phase difference reaches a predetermined value, and the resonance vibration of the movable part is carried out. Before the control of carrying out the resonance vibration, the frequency sweep of inputting a current into the electromagnetic coil 4 is carried out while lowering or raising a frequency between a predetermined upper limit value and a lower limit value in one direction, a change of a phase difference between a current or a voltage inputted into the electromagnetic coil 4 during the frequency sweep and the vibration displacement of the movable part is detected, and on the basis of the change of the phase difference, it is selected to take on a first aspect of changing the frequency of the current or the voltage inputted into the electromagnetic coil 4 in a raising direction, or a second aspect of changing it into a lowering direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
