PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of predicting the risk of onset of moyamoya disease and its degree of severity more in detail than conventional methods.;SOLUTION: This method for examining the moyamoya disease is provided by detecting c.14576GA polymorphism in the RNF213 gene of a subject and in case that it has a homozygous A/A polymorphism, determining the subject to be of a severe type of poor prognosis, or to have a high onset risk.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
