PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for achieving an approximately rectangular cross section and high flatness without causing taper when a square bar is bent, a spacer having an approximately rectangular cross section and high flatness and a heat exchanger suppressing leakage of cooling water by using the spacer having an approximately rectangular cross section and high flatness.;SOLUTION: In this bending method, a predetermined portion at the central part in the longitudinal direction of a first face of the square bar having length corresponding to the length of a bend part of the square bar after completion of bending process is pressed vertically in the second face direction opposing to the first face direction of the square bar, and then, the square bar is bent so that the second face becomes an outer peripheral side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
