DETECTOR FOR CORROSION PART OF LINEAR BODY, AND CORROSION PART DETECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector for a corrosion part of a linear body, capable of detecting a corrosion part of the linear body with high accuracy, shortening test time, and further lowering test cost, and to provide a corrosion part detection method.;SOLUTION: The corrosion part detector of a linear body comprises: a pair of cylindrical exciting coils 2, 3 respectively having iron cores 2a, 3a in centers thereof and magnetizing a test target portion Wp of a test piece W; and a detection coil 4 detecting magnetic flux quantity passing through the test target portion Wp of the test piece W magnetized by the exciting coils 2, 3. The pair of exciting coils 2, 3 are arranged so as to sandwich the test target portion Wp of the test piece W from both sides of the radial direction thereof while circular end faces of the respective iron cores 2a, 3a are opposed to each other, and the detection coil 4 is installed so as to be wound around the test piece W.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
