OIL-CONTAINING WASTE WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM USING YEAST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and microbiologically treat waste edible oil contained in oil-containing sewage in a grease trap or a sewage treatment tank, installation of which is obligation of food plants and commercial kitchens, without spending time and effort like continuously charging microorganism.SOLUTION: Candida lipolytica, which is a yeast having high oil-decomposition performance, is made to be contained in a cellulosic porous carrier. After the carrier is put into a bag made of nonwoven fabric made of material which does not let the carrier pass through and processed to have a shape of a bag, the bag is sealed to form a porous carrier pack. The porous carrier pack is charged into the grease trap or the sewage treatment layer. A microbubble generator is concurrently used in place of a normal aeration.
