PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-containing waste treatment agent having function suppressing the spoilage of a separated oil component or water and to treat oil-containing waste water using the same. ;SOLUTION: The treatment of oil-containing waste water is performed by using a flocculant having flocculation action and having the spoilage suppressing action of oil-containing waste water. Concretely, an oil-containing waste water treatment agent containing at least one kind of compd. selected from sulface, chloride and polychloride of aluminum and at least one kind of a compd. selected from propionic acid, dehydroacetic acid, sorbic acid and sodium salt or potassium salt of benzoic acid is used as a flocculant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
