PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve a stereo pair having an effect equivalent to that of a stereo image from among combinations of a plurality of single images if the plurality of single images have overlapping areas.;SOLUTION: A stereo pair retrieval device includes: a satellite image retrieval part for retrieving satellite images having regions overlapping with an image retrieval place on the basis of geographic coordinate information of the image retrieval place and polygon information of satellite images stored in a satellite image photographing database for storing the satellite images photographed by an artificial satellite; a satellite position specification part for three-dimensionally specifying position coordinates of the artificial satellite when the satellite photographs each of the satellite images, when plural retrieved satellite images are present, and center coordinates of the satellite images, regarding each of combinations of the plural satellite images; and a stereo pair image extraction part for extracting a pair of satellite images satisfying a stereo pair condition, on the basis of the position coordinate of the artificial satellite and the center coordinate corresponding to a first satellite image and a second satellite image being an arbitrary pair among the plural satellite images.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
