PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array antenna applicable to multiband with a compact and simple structure, and to provide an adaptive directivity receiver.;SOLUTION: The array antenna includes a shared antenna aperture plane having first through m-th main grid lines Gh1, Gh2, Gh3, ..., Ghm connecting the ends on both sides of first and second end stripes Gpp1, Gpp2, and auxiliary grid lines Gv41, Gv42, Gv43, Gv44 orthogonal to the main grid lines. Intersection of the m-th main grid line Ghm and the first auxiliary grid line Gv41 is selected as a feeding point P1, intersection of the m-th main grid line Ghm and the third auxiliary grid line Gv43 is selected as a feeding point P2, intersection of the first main grid line and the fourth auxiliary grid line Gv44 is selected as a feeding point P3, and intersection of the first main grid line and the second auxiliary grid line Gv42 is selected as a feeding point P4.
