PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamable polystyrene resin particle for middle-low ratio expansion molding capable of providing a middle-low ratio expansion molded product having a high fusion ratio and flexural strength.;SOLUTION: The foamable polystyrene resin particle for middle-low ratio expansion molding including a foamable polystyrene resin particle and a coating layer on its surface is used for middle-low ratio expansion molding of 30 times or less. The foamable polystyrene resin particle includes at least a polystyrene resin and a foaming agent. The coating layer includes at least an aliphatic amide compound having a hydroxy group and an aliphatic glycerol ester compound. The aliphatic amide compound is included at 0.01-0.5 pts.mass with respect to 100 pts.mass of the polystyrene resin in the particles.
