PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform multi-color weft insertion while keeping a storage winding amount within an allowable range and keeping the rotation number of a motor as constant as possible.;SOLUTION: A loom control computer Co controls the rotation of winding motors 122A and 122B of weft length measuring storage devices 12A and 12B, which are independent of a loom drive motor M. The loom control computer Co is information holding means for holding information in a storage winding amount allowable range and is also search means having a search function searching for a constant rotation number and a weft insertion pick number for each of the winding motors 122A and 122B, satisfying the condition that a storage winding amount is kept within the storage winding amount allowable range.
