PARKING TICKET AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM BY QR CODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve discount authentication by inexpensive means regardless of a magnetic type parking ticket.;SOLUTION: A parking ticket issuing machine turns ID information into a QR code, prints the QR code on a parking ticket, issues it, and transmits ID information and the issuance time to a parking lot server. A mobile phone with a camera is provided in each cooperative store, the QR code of the parking ticket is photographed, the ID information is read, and information of a purchase money amount or discount time inputted by a store clerk is transmitted to the parking lot server by e-mail together with the ID information. A fully automatic settlement machine reads the QR code on the parking ticket, inquires the parking lot server on the basis of the parking ticket ID information of the QR code, and calculates a parking fee by the information of the purchase money amount by a user of the parking ticket pertinent to the parking ticket ID or the discount time, the issuance time, and a prescribed discount calculation formula. The parking lot server receives and records data from the parking ticket issuing machine and the mobile telephone set, and answers the recorded data when needed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
