PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy absorption type front underrun protector that efficiently absorbs collision energy with all the energy absorbers at a full-wrap frontal collision, enables collapse load of the energy absorbers to be easily set, ensures energy absorption performance even at an offset frontal collision, and prevents deflection of a front underrun protector bar and the energy absorber, and to provide a vehicle including the same, and a frontal collision energy absorption method.;SOLUTION: The front underrun protector bar 11 is fixed to a vehicle body 20 via a plurality of energy absorbers 12A, 12B including a side energy absorber 12B. At a frontal collision, the side energy absorber 12B retracts to come in contact with a tire 30, and starts energy absorption. The side energy absorber 12B is arranged forward of the tire 30 via a link mechanism 14 with a support structure 14c that regulates vertical motion of the side energy absorber 12B and a bracket 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
