PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke blocking door device of an elevator, which can be combined with a smoke blocking door even when a jamb is roughened.;SOLUTION: The smoke blocking door device 51 of an elevator includes a seam-folded long sheet 13 supported by a jamb vertical frame 2, and a smoke blocking member 10 which is supported by an elevator doorway door 4 being a smoke blocking door and covers a gap between the seam-folded long sheet and the smoke blocking door. The seam-folded long sheet is disposed so as to cover a corresponding surface of the jamb. The seam-folded long sheet has an overlapped part partially overlapped by seam-folding a sheet member, and an nonoverlapped part. In the nonoverlapped part, the seam-folded long sheet is attached to the corresponding surface of the jamb by truss tapping screws 16.
