PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic contact angle gauge capable of stably measuring a dynamic contact angle in various conditions, and a method for measuring the dynamic contact angle.;SOLUTION: A dynamic contact angle gauge 1 includes a counter member 50 arranged facing a measuring surface 2a of a solid sample 2, a supply device 60 for supplying a liquid sample 3 between the measuring surface 2a and the counter member 50, a movement mechanism 22 for relatively moving the solid sample 2 and the counter means 50 in a direction going almost along the measuring surface 2a, an imaging apparatus 30 for imaging the liquid sample 3 between the measuring surface 2a and the counter member 50 from a direction almost perpendicular to a relative movement direction of the solid sample 2 and the counter member 50, and a contact angle derivation device for deriving a dynamic contact angle on the basis of an image imaged by the imaging apparatus 30 during relative movement of the solid sample 2 and the counter member 50. The counter member 50 is arranged at a position where the liquid sample 3 forms a bridge 4 between a surface facing the measuring surface 2a of the counter member 50 and the measuring surface 2a in the case of that the liquid sample 3 between the measuring surface 2a and the counter member 50 is imaged.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
