PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery method and a recovery apparatus for bismuth, capable of recovering bismuth contained in an electrolytic solution efficiently and with a high recovery rate.SOLUTION: In the bismuth recovery method in which bismuth adsorbed to a resin by supplying an electrolytic solution containing bismuth to a column 11 filled with the resin is eluted by supplying an eluent thereto, and an eluent discharged from the column 11 is supplied to a bismuth recovery part 18 to recover bismuth, internal pressure in a liquid supply pipe 12 for supplying liquid to the column 11 and internal pressure in a liquid discharge pipe 13 for discharging liquid from the column 11 are measured, and according to the occurrence of difference in the measured internal pressures of the liquid supply pipe 12 and the liquid discharge pipe 13, an eluent is supplied to the bismuth recovery part 18.
