PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent corrosion caused by cooling water inside a hydraulic pressure apparatus for driving a control rod main body 20 even when a nuclear reactor is shut down.SOLUTION: The control rod driving hydraulic pressure system 10 includes a control rod driving hydraulic pressure apparatus body 20 and a circulating water supply device 80 which is detachably mounted on the body 20. The control rod driving hydraulic pressure system 10 closes a cooling water pressure reduction control valve 60 of a control rod driving hydraulic pressure system pump 70, and opens a circulating water on-off valve 100 of the control rod driving hydraulic pressure apparatus body 20. The circulating water supply device 80 supplies for-circulation cooling water of which a hydraulic pressure is reduced by a circulation water pressure control valve 120 to a circulation pressure allowing the cooling water to be circulated inside of a lift actuator 560, while not allowing the lift actuator 560 to ascend or descend. The cooling water is supplied to an inserted pipeline 50 via a cooling water line 40 as shown by an arrow F2.
