PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of monitoring a blood flow of the gastrointestinal tract in real time.SOLUTION: The system for measuring the blood flow of the gastrointestinal tract includes an intestinal probe having an expandable flexible body and at least one sensor disposed on the expandable flexible body, and a device which cooperates with the intestinal probe. In the system, the sensor generates plethysmographic signals corresponding to the temporal change of the blood flow of the gastrointestinal tract, the device processes the plethysmographic signals and generates signals corresponding to at least one of a blood pressure and the intestinal peristalsis at an installation location of the sensor.
