PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding storage box that can control any fold-bend while obtaining the sense of holding a center part, and a storage box with the winding stored.;SOLUTION: A winding storage box 1 includes a body part 10 for storing a winding 91r, and a lid part 20 which is turnably connected to a rear plate end ridge 18 to cover an opening surface 10h. A linear emboss 21p is formed in at least any one of a top plate 21, a bottom plate 13 and a rear plate 14 in a center part 1c of a longitudinal direction D of the rectangular surface to be parallel to the axis 91a and across the virtual straight line SL passing through the geometric center 21c of the rectangular surface. Thus, the strength of the surface of the top plate 21 with the linear emboss 21p being formed therein can be increased, controlling any fold-bend. Further, a user of the winding storage box 1 can be guided to hold a part of the center in the longitudinal direction of the winding storage box 1.
