PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive rib body for a folded plate roof and a mounting structure of the rib body allowing a solar panel, a seeding and planting roof, a slight facility apparatus and a component serving as a maintenance passage on the roof to be suitably mounted on the fitting type folded plate roof, having versatility and easily and firmly mountable. PSOLUTION: The rib body for the folded plate roof includes a rib body part 1 including an elongate flat main plate 11 with a length substantially equivalent to the width of a folded plate roof plate 6 of the folded plate roof B, and main side parts 12 formed on both width direction sides of the flat main plate 11; a first holding member 2 settled between both main side parts 12 of the rib body part 1 and including a locking part 24 locking one width direction end of a cap member 65 for connecting folded plate roof plates 6 to each other; a second holding member 3 which is the same as the first holding member 2 and includes a locking part 34 locking the other width direction end of the cap member 65; and a fastening implement 4 causing the first holding member 2 and the second holding member 3 to approach and separate.
