PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an SAR value of a mobile terminal device while suppressing performance deterioration in the mobile terminal device.SOLUTION: Two matching circuits 16a, 16b are provided as matching circuits which perform matching between an RF circuit 13 and an antenna 17. The matching circuit 16a performs matching of the RF circuit 13 and the antenna 17 so as to resonate with a transmission frequency. Moreover, the matching circuit 16b performs matching of the RF circuit 13 and the antenna 17 so as to resonate with a reception frequency. When output power from a power amplifier 19 is a threshold or more and a proximity sensor 23 detects an object, the matching circuit 16b side is selected, and in other cases, the matching circuit 16a side is selected. Thereby, when the output power from the power amplifier of a high frequency circuit is the threshold or more and a user moves his/her face closer to the mobile terminal device, radiation power becomes small and deterioration of the SAR value can be prevented.
