PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent fine particle dispersion solution allowing efficient production of a dispersion solution wherein nanometer-size fine particles are dispersed without performing mechanical dispersing nor granule disintegrating processing, and to provide a method for producing the fine particle dispersion solution, and a method for producing LnOX-LnX3 complex particles.;SOLUTION: The fine particle dispersion solution, wherein LnOX (Ln is a rare earth element and X is halogen) particles with an average particle diameter of nanometer size are dispersed uniformly, can be used as an upconversion light-emission phosphor, a contrast medium, a sensitizer or the like and a fluorescent label and the like in a genetic diagnosis field or the like. Since the fine particle dispersion solution can be produced by charging the LnOX-LnX3 complex particle as a precursor into a solvent, the dispersion solution can be obtained easily at low cost without performing mechanical dispersing nor granule disintegrating processing.
