PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control a start distance according to the degree of congestion of vehicles, in an intersection warning device for executing an application for issuing a warning when a self-vehicle enters a start distance from an intersection. PSOLUTION: On the basis of a radio wave received from the other vehicle, the index of the degree of congestion of vehicles in the periphery of a self-vehicle 4 is acquired, and on the basis of the acquired index of the degree of congestion, a start distance is made longer as the degrees of congestion of vehicles 7, 31 and 32 in the periphery of the self-vehicle is higher, and the start distance is made shorter as the degree of congestion is lower.
