PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic exposure controller that makes the proper control of exposure according to the angle of view; and to provide a controller, an endoscope and an automatic exposure control method, etc.;SOLUTION: The automatic exposure controller includes: an image acquisition part to acquire an image including the figure of a subject taken by an imaging optical system that receives the reflection of light radiated on the subject 10; an angle-of-view information acquisition part 310 to acquire the angle-of-view information of the imaging optical system when an image is taken; and an automatic exposure control part 320 making the automatic control of exposure based on the acquired angle-of-view information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
