PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-halogen flame-retardant rubber composition which is flame-retardant, does not contain a halogen, has flexibility and oil resistance in excellent balance, satisfies a demand as a coating material for cab tire cables, satisfies specifications such as tensile strength, tensile elongation, and oil resistance by vulcanization for a short time, and is excellent in productivity; and to provide a rubber-coated wire and cable using the rubber composition as a coating material and excellent in flexibility and oil resistance.;SOLUTION: The non-halogen flame-retardant rubber composition is characterized by comprising 100 pts.mass of a rubber component and 30-150 pts.mass of a metal hydroxide, wherein the rubber component comprises an ethylene-propylene rubber 1 having an ethylene ratio of 60-64% and an ethylene-propylene rubber 2 having an ethylene ratio of 66-70% in a mass ratio of 70:30 to 30:70; and a rubber-coated wire and cable using the rubber composition as a coating material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
