P To provide an information terminal capable of classifying call sound depending ON tone without troubling a user, and of carrying out an operation for notifying call depending ON a noise level around a mobile information terminal. PSOLUTION: An information terminal has: a level detector 4 determining volume of sound input from a sound collector 3; a call sound storage 9 storing sound data including tone data; a tone determination unit 10 classifying the sound data depending ON the tone data; an output controller 5 selecting the sound data of tone depending ON the determination of the level detector 4; and a call sound controller 6 converting to output the sound data selected by the output controller 5.
