PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method with which a calcining frame inserted in a tundish can be uniformly heated and a dry coating material can be comparatively uniformly calcinated with safety and the load can be reduced, and to provide a calcining frame used for the method.;SOLUTION: The calcining frame 10 for the dry coating material Dc adhered on the inside of the tundish 1 includes: a frame body 11 having a bottom face 14 and side walls 12a, 12b, 13a, 13b erected from the periphery of the bottom face 14; and a metal pipe 16 laid on an inside 15 of the frame body 11 and to the inside of which a heating medium is supplied. The bottom face 14 of the frame body 11 has a substantially rectangular shape in plan view. The metal pipe 16 is laid on the inside 15 along the longitudinal direction of the inside 15 of the frame body 11 which has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape surrounded by the four side walls 12a, 12b, 13a, 13b erected from the four sides of the bottom face 14 and the bottom face 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
