PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ore dressing method with which an arsenic mineral is efficiently separated from a copper-containing material containing the arsenic mineral.;SOLUTION: The method for separating the arsenic mineral from the copper-containing material, includes adding water to the copper-containing material containing the arsenic mineral to turn the copper-containing material to slurry, then adjusting the pH of the slurry to 8-12, and performing a flotation. In the method, at least one process of a soluble copper removal process 2 in which the copper-containing material is treated by using a chelating agent such as triethylenetetramine or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid generating a chelate with a copper ion, and an oxidizing process 5 in which the arsenic mineral is oxidized by using an oxidant such as air and oxygen, is carried out.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
