PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus unit development support device capable of developing an apparatus unit on a computer.;SOLUTION: Material selection means 120 selects a basic material stored in basic material storage means 125. Material processing means 130 processes the basic material acquired by the material selection means 120. Then, material assembling means 140 selects a connection member stored in connection member information storage means 145 and uses the connection member to connect a plurality of the basic materials processed by the material processing means 130, thereby assembling a main body of an apparatus unit. Mechanism unit information storage means 175 stores a mechanism unit required to operate the apparatus unit so that the mechanism unit can be displayed on a computer. Mechanism selection means 150 selects the mechanism unit stored in the mechanism unit information storage means 155.
