PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion potential sensor capable of more accurately measuring the corrosion potential of a structural member.SOLUTION: A corrosion potential sensor 1 comprises a reference electrode 2, an insulator 3, a measuring electrode 5, and a sensor body 6. The reference electrode 2 made of metal zirconium is fixed inside the insulator 3 made of zirconium oxide. The sensor body 6 made of stainless steel surrounding one end of the insulator 3 is fixed to the insulator 3. The measuring electrode 5 is fixed to the surface of the insulator 3 so as to cover the side face of the insulator 3 and the peripheral part of the apical surface of the insulator 3. The measuring electrode 5 is made of the same material as of the structural member of a nuclear power plant, which is an object for the measurement of corrosion potential. A zirconium electrode wire 7 is connected to the reference electrode 2, passing through the insulator 3. The core wire 9b of a mineral insulation cable 9 inserted in the sensor body 6 is connected to the zirconium electrode wire 7. The metal outer cylindrical tube 9a is connected to the sensor body 6.
