PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quickly forming a medium for Tricholoma matsutake.SOLUTION: The fruit body production method comprises preparation of a carbon source culture liquid and a nitrogen culture liquid prepared by using a carbon source comprising a saccharide having a reducing terminal as a medium, a nitrogen source comprising amino acids having amino group, a metal salt and a gelling agent wherein the carbon source and the nitrogen source are separately prepared and adding the metal salt and the gelling agent to different sources; introduction of mycelium of Tricholoma matsutake into one of the culture liquid and addition of the culture liquid containing the gelling agent to promote the gelation of the mixture system comprising the carbon source culture liquid and the nitrogen source culture liquid in the presence of air; and cultivation of the obtained fungus body suspension gel in a dark chamber.
